Akshay Jain, Director of Academics at Kruu recently wrote an article on The Pioneer, a daily newspaper with a readership of more than 2 lakhs. His article, titled, ‘How Technology unlocks access, inspiration & opportunity’ highlights the role technology can have in shaping better education models for students around the world.
The article showcases examples of students in rural settings, who use technology around them to overcome the barriers around them and give themselves the skills and education to succeed in life. The article also highlights how Kruu is moving the needle, by already connecting students around the world with leading professors and experts for them to learn from.
This use of technology to connect students with leading experts can be very powerful. It can help any student gain the right skills, and the right kind of education to help them change their surroundings. It lets a boy in Coimbatore find solutions to water storage issues in his neighbourhood. It helps a girl in Panchkula create an app to highlight civic services that are needed around her school. It most importantly helps every child around us gain the power to improve the world around them.
Thank you to The Pioneer for shining a spotlight on this important issue, and thank you to every student, teacher, and partner who believes in our vision. Together, we’re bridging the knowledge gap, one project at a time.
