Here is what our students say about Kruu
I would like to thank the Kruu team for this well organised project. This project was very interesting and discussions with the group mates and teachers were helpful. I particularly enjoyed the learning about the vaccines and information relating to it. Please thank on my behalf to everyone who was involved in the execution of this wonderful project. I look forward for more future projects and workshops from Kruu.

The project taught me a lot about teamwork and creativity, I had lots of fun working on it. The problem was that the 2nd worksheet was to hard, for me, I was not able to make a map so I have just listed the address of the places where the visitors will visit. However, the project was fun, I enjoyed it, and the last thing I want to say is.. I am ready for another project anytime! From,Mahi Wagh Grade 6 AGA

It all started with a simple observation at my house during the scorching summer months.
The AC Dilemma: Like many families, we tend to crank up the air conditioning as soon as the temperature starts to rise. But I began to notice something interesting: our living room was always much cooler than the rest of the house, even without the AC running as much. This got me thinking: why was this room so different? I also noticed that the room became even cooler after mopping while the water still dried on the floor.

Firstly, I explored the basics of energy measurement, understanding the relationships between watts, watt-hours, kilowatts, and their practical applications. This foundational knowledge paved the way for a more comprehensive understanding of energy usage in both residential and educational environments.
Identifying the most energy-intensive appliances in schools and homes was a significant eye-opener. Armed with this awareness, I embarked on a mission to implement practical strategies aimed at reducing energy waste. Each initiative was a step towards fostering a culture of sustainability.

The first thing to do in CPS is to formulate the problem statement and gather information that is pertinent to the problem. Once there is enough information on the problem, the first step towards ideation begins.
The ideation process is where there is maximum creativity and it is important that all ideas are registered. Once all the ideas are listed, analyze or discuss each idea to see if it effectively solves the problem at hand. Rate the ideas such that the winners come on top and the not-so-good ones are at the bottom. It is very possible that the final solution you have could be a combination of more than one idea. There is more than one way to come up with the set of initial ideas.

A big question that educators face today is how to impart real world skills to their students. How does one really prepare them to face world challenges and how are they equipped to solve them? An effective way that empowers students to solve problems on their own is the 4Cs of learning. These are Creativity, Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking. While each of these skills are important on their own, when combined together it enables a student to think creatively, work together and come up with solutions. The word Creativity usually means being an artist. However one can be creative in any field. If a student is able to think laterally and provide solutions that are out of the box then that is defined as a creative solution.
